Tats Nkonzo

Tats Nkonzo is a sought after comedian and MC with his unique offering as a musical comedian.
As a finalist in the first season of this hit reality show for stand-up comics, Tats Nkonzo left a lasting impression on judges and producers alike and was requested to prepare material as a guest performer in the final round of the competition. With his arsenal of humour, intellect and a guitar, Tats was the host of SA’s Got Talent for four seasons and was a writer and performer on the Emmy nominated satirical show, Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola. He performed the Morale Index, a musical comedy segment which comments on the country’s morale based on the week’s news. Tats made his debut on American television in 2019. Tats Nkonzo was selected as an international judge on the talent show airing on CBS. Representing South Africa alongside Drew Barrymore, Faith Hill and RuPaul, the program showcases talent from around the globe. Tats Nkonzo was also profiled on CNN’s African Voices, where he was engaged about his use of stand-up comedy as a nation building tool. With a musical gift that complements his comic performance, Tats Nkonzo gives audiences far more than they expect.
