Dalin Oliver

Cape Town based comedian and Good Hope FM radio jock, Dalin Oliver’s on-stage journey started in 2010 with his clean cut energetic and charming brand of comedy. The former high school mathematics and history teacher, now writer and comedian has been featured on Comedy Central Africa, and has opened for industry stalwarts such as Riaad Moosa, Barry Hilton, Stuart Taylor and Nik Rabinowitz. Dalin was the runner-up of Cape Town’s Next Comic and performed at Intimate Comedy Sessions at On Broadway alongside Stuart Taylor for four nights, 2011. In 2012 he was a Nandos Comedy Showdown finalist, and debuted his one man show, I Came, I Taught, I Left, in Grahamstown in 2014. Dalin featured as a lead in the movie ‘Finders Keepers’ in 2016. He toured with his show Face For Raido in 2017 and 2018, then with the show Day Zero: The Water Shortage Comedy Tour in March 2019. The radio show Happy Hour, hosted alongside Carl Webber, was nomination for the 2018 Savanna Comics’ Choice Awards. Dalin is currently touring with his show Adulting, as of April 2019.
